Brouwers extended to 2012

Mönchengladbach -
Soccer-Bundesliga Borussia Moenchengladbach has extended the contract expiring in June 2010 with defender Roel Brouwers for two years. This was announced the club on Friday.
The 28-year-old Dutchman came in June 2007 by the SC Paderborn and has played more 41 Bundesliga and 28 second-division games for the Moenchengladbach. In the current season's top scorer with four goals Brouwers Borussia.
"Roel is a cornerstone in our team and we are delighted to have him committed for a further two years on us," said sporting director Max Eberl.
